About
So who is this guy?
Chase is a director, actor, vocalist, creative producer, and teaching artist based out of Nashville, TN

In addition to being a multi-hyphenate (honestly, what a show-off) he's won a Broadway World Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his work as Buddy,
the Elf in Elf: The Musical at the historic Chaffin's Barn, having previously been nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of the comically absurd Carmen Ghia in The Producers at the Boiler Room Theatre, which was awarded Best Musical by the Nashville Scene. Chase has been lauded by critics as
“A true star” [1] ”Rather insanely talented” [2], and
“A serious triple threat” [3]
In addition to his local honors, Chase is the recipient of an Alison LaPlaca Talent Award, the distinguished IWU Alumni Fine Arts Merit Award , and five NSDA Performance Awards including a 2007 National Designation for his performance in DIARY OF A MADMAN by Henri Rene’ Guy de Maupassant. He has traveled the country doing everything from pirouettes to puppetry, and traveled the world as a vocalist for Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line.
As a director and creative producer, Chase has spent the last fifteen years creating original work, celebrated classics, and specialty projects for theaters and entertainment companies across the globe.
He is most proud, however, of his work as a teaching artist. He currently serves on the roster of professional artists who support THE PLAYGROUND, a year-round educational program in residence at The TheaterBug for student playwrights of all experience levels to tell their own stories, connect with other young writers, and receive mentorship from industry professionals.
He has also worked as a teaching artist for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, The Black Hawk Children’s Theatre, The Disney Musicals in Schools program and Contemporary Dance Theatre. He is a proud member of the diverse panel of adjudicators that make up The Spotlight Awards, a subsidiary program of The Broadway League, the national industry trade association, dedicated to honoring the talents and educational endeavors of theatre students from across the nation.
Chase is a certified practitioner of the ALBA Method and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University.
